Anupam Raina, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Researcher

I was born in New Delhi, India, and completed my B.S. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Genetics at the Bangalore University in India, followed by my MSc. in Applied Microbiology at the Vellore Institute of Technology University in India. I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in Germany. In the Shahmoradian lab, I use cell models to study the morphogenesis and ultrastructure of alpha-synuclein aggregates and associated proteins in situ through combining biochemical approaches and multi-scale imaging.
